XMR Monero (XMR) delisting

Regulatory pressure arises from forthcoming changes in the European Union’s crypto regulations. The Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) legislation, which takes effect in December, alongside new anti-money laundering (AML) rules, is compelling crypto service providers to reassess their support for privacy-centric coins.

Kriptomat will delist Monero (XMR) from its platform by the end of October. Buying and exchanging will be disabled starting today, but the sell option will remain available for the next 7 days, until October 29. After that, Monero (XMR) will be delisted, and any remaining user balances will be automatically converted to USDC by the end of October.
